At this point, it is unclear as to what extent the recent changes will affect search engine results pages globally and in different languages. However, it can be assumed that this update will have an impact on SERPs in a variety of languages, given their general nature. From what we can tell at this point via SEO expert chatter spaces/forums and Twitter, this update did not produce as much volatility as previous updates.
