- Predicted Revenue: Estimates the projected revenue from all purchase conversions within the next 28 days (from users active for the previous 28 days).

Predictive metrics are available in the audience builder and in Explorations. To benefit from these predictions, businesses should ensure the following prerequisites are met:
- Active GA4 property: Ensure you have set up and implemented GA4 tracking on your website or app.
- Sufficient data: The algorithm needs enough user data to make accurate predictions. This typically takes around 28 days of consistent data collection. Per Google, “In the last 28 days, over a seven-day period, at least 1,000 returning users must have triggered the relevant predictive condition (purchase or churn) and at least 1,000 returning users must not”.
- Ecommerce setup: Ensure that data collection is configured correctly within your GA4 property, capturing relevant user interactions across various touchpoints. To trigger them, you MUST set up the purchase event and send it to the GA4 property.
Once enabled, you can access predictive metrics within the “Explore” section of GA4. They appear as additional columns alongside user data, allowing you to segment audiences based on their predicted behavior.
Note: These predictive metrics will update once a day IF all of the conditions are met. If they stop being met, then Analytics will stop updating them. To check the status of each prediction provided by GA4, go to the Predictive section within Suggested audiences templates in the Audience builder.
